MY Story
CEO and Founder of Defying the Odds LLC Jerimie Acree considers himself
to be one who defied the odds life put in his own path. Jerimie is a proud
husband of 14 years to his wife Vonnise and a dedicated father to his 8 year old son, Mason.
According to Jerimie, being raised by his mother Barbara who was 16 years old when she had him is a prime example of defying the odds life presents to many. I recognize that without the influence of individuals like my Grandmother Mary Merriweather, cousin Marwin Walling, mentor Devlin Culliver, best friend & entrepreneur Rick Coleman and my Pastor Dr. Tyrone Humphries the obstacles of life would have overwhelmed me a long time ago. Jerimie also credits Patrick Ward, Director of Curriculum & Instruction for inspiring him to start his own educational consulting business.
